Website-In-A-Day!

After having worked in design and web-design for many years, I am fast and efficient, and maintain a sense of care about what I do. I know that as a creative sometimes you need a website fast, and also that budget may be of concern (oh how many times I’ve made an album on a shoestring..!). The Website-In-A-Day package is perfect for those who don’t mind jumping in once we’re done and learning how to update your site to add any additional touches.
Websites will be built using the Squarespace platform.

We’ll jump on an hour-long call to start the day.
This will help me understand your vision and your goals, and to get a sense for your artistic sensibilities.
Together we will make a plan for your how your new site will look, feel, and function.

I’ll start working and you can go about your day!
I will send you a link to the development site so you can take a look at any time, and just ask that you be available throughout the day for a quick email or Zoom chat should I need to clarify anything.

To close out the day, we’ll jump on another Zoom call so that we can fine tune the site and I can give you the next steps.
In the instance that your site has a lot of content (eg. expansive discographies, e-commerce sites, or large portfolios) you may be asked to finish up some of the work yourself, but I will give you training videos on that, and everything else you need to keep your site up-to-date. The package also includes a free 30-minute follow-up session in the first 6-months should you need some extra help.

nb. If the site you want is larger and more involved than what can be accomplished by me in one day, I will let you know in advance so that we can discuss options. Before we start, having a quick consultation will allow me the knowledge to tell you this in advance of beginning your project!

TERMS

  • Website-In-A-Day means a 7-hour day, either 10am - 5pm or 11am - 6pm.

  • All graphics & copy must be received no later than 24-hours before our session, or the session will be deemed canceled.

  • Payment is due upon booking.

  • There is a $250 cancelation fee if session is canceled or rescheduled in less than 24-hours (or if you don’t send assets 24-hours within session date).

  • There is a $100 cancelation or reschedule fee with less than 7-days notice.

  • There is no fee to reschedule with more than 7 days notice.

  • Any reschedule date is based on availability, and must be used within 3-months of original session.

  • $100 general cancelation fee (or if site is not completed in 3-months of reschedule).

  • Fee does not include hosting fees or purchase of URL.
